announces a new partnership with Canandaigua Concentrate & Colors to market Canandaigua’s MegaNatural line of grape derived natural food colors.

These colors are applicable in a wide range of foods and beverages. They offer outstanding light and pH stability when compared to other natural fruit based colors, such as Red Cabbage, Elderberry, Purple Carrot, and Grape Skin Extract.

The Carmine Substitute color is the first and only grape derived color to exhibit excellent stability in the presence of ascorbic acid. Most of the colors are available in both liquid and dry forms. Kosher certification is available. These colors can be labeled as “grape juice concentrate” or “grape skin extract” (Carmine Substitute) in accordance with 21CFR73.170.

Typical uses would be in alcoholic beverages, fruit drinks, confections, fruit preparations, glazes, yogurts, functional and nutraceutical beverages, and beverage bases.

Please contact Tom Schufreider for additional information, to receive samples, or request application assistance.
